Company description coming soon.
Called for a tow service call in December, 2011 in Chicago. It happened to be one of the coldest days of the season. I advised thecall center agent that it was too cold to wait in the car, but I was positioned in a storefront window approx. three car lengths from my car on the same street. The Agent advised me the driver would call 15 minutes prior to coming. The driver did not call, however I saw him and proceeded to my car. He slowed down, seeing no one in the car and took off amid my yelling for him to stop. I called the agent to reschedule the service call and explained to the agent that there had been no call and the driver did not even stop. The same driver was dispatched and took close to three hours to return. Today 8/20 called to place another request for service and was advised that the December call counted for two calls and that my benefits had been exhausted. The Customer Service Department agent read to me the notes from the driver and disregarded the notes on the account regarding my experience. He said too much time had passed to reverse the matter?. I was never told that there would be a double charge for the call, otherwise I would have addressed it then”. The agent stressed the driver had a license plate number and had been there!. Of course he did he returned three hours later’. When I asked the driver why he did not call or if heard me yelling to wait
This company is a scam. They look for every excuse to deny a claim even going against the Inspectors they send to look at your vehicle and damaged parts. STAY AWAY from this company they truly need to be investigated on the Federal level for deceptive business practices. Their customer service is pathetic and if you disagree with them they become extremely defensive and unprofessional. My opinion is that all they want to do is collect your money and deny you repairs. I purchased a warranty on my diesel engine that supposedly has turbo coverage of internal parts but when those internal parts failed they weren’t covered by the warranty. A Ford Certified Diesel Mechanic and 2 Inspectors found my turbo to have failed at the center shaft, (main shaft of the turbo) and AAAP denied the claim stating there was carbon in my turbo, which is normal for a turbo. They will not cover you like they claim all you will receive is a major amount of lip service and waiting for them to have an inspector check the claim just to disagree with the inspector.
I purchased a policy with this company, and, just to be clear, they are not the ones that handle the claims process, THEY ARE A BROKER PEOPLE! They sell the policy to a company, so, it really depends on who you get. I got a good company and it paid 2 claims that totaled more then I bought the plan for. It worked just fine for me, but, the key is that they are not the one paying the claim, so, make sure you like the plan they have for you.
this company refused to replace the bad poor quality steering box that they replaced 2 years and 20,000 miles earlier. The dealer Auto Nation wrote a letter saying the 1st box was inferior to a GM part. VERY BAD COMPANY
Don’t buy insurance with this company will not pay for repairs after they get your money .they will try there best to decline any repairs that will cost $ A one rating is to good for this company
Please stay away. They don’t want to refund any of my money after they cancelled my warranty.
About all I can do is mimic the bad reviews already written ,but I will add if you want to get ripped off this is the outfit to do it, don’t walk but run from these guys
I was supposed to get a refund a month ago. I have spoken with SEVERAL people who have ALL assured me that the refund was coming! The person who I originally spoke with is “no longer with the company” and never put my refund through!
Obtained a quote on 5/21/14,. and put down a $200 down payment, with first payment being due on 6/21/14. On 6/15/14, I called to cancel and had to leave a message. I could never reach a customer service person. So, I followed up with 2 emails stating that I wanted to cancel the plan and expected a full refund. A month later, I still have not received a refund, a return call, etc., but I did receive another payment taken out of my account. This company is a total rip off and I suggest that we attempt to do a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT due to unfair practices, an misrepresentation of the company and/or services.
Minutes ago, an associate from this company called me with regard to my extended warranty need. I couldn’t hear him clearly, so I asked him to repeat what he said, then as of sudden he started chattering certain filthy sound (sorry to say that: like farting)with his filthy tongue. Sorry again to say that this company is not monitoring its associates behavior with its customers, while they remarks that (calls are recorded for quality assurance). What a great filthy quality.
Don’t fall for it they’re scammers. Unable to cancel this policy. They charged my VISA without my approval and knowledge. I plan to sue them. Rude total rip off scam of a company.
This is NOT a AAA (Auto Club) company. Many are told it is….it is NOT affiliated in any way, shape or form to AAA.
For the price and service, I highly recommend. I’ve been with many warranty companies and have not had good experiences. This company I think ill stick with. I had two problems last month in two weeks. I thought they were going to tell me since my first issue was taken care of, they wouldt be able to handle the second(I’ve heard it all before), but that wasnt the case. So for that reason, I felt compelled to show my gratitude.
AAAP is a scam. One of the “reviews” on this very site is THE OWNER of the company (“Dan Rorpaugh – see http://www.linkedin.com/pub/daniel-rorapaugh/20/b66/68). So, probably all of the positive reviews are by him or his employees – c’mon. Anyway, my own and MANY people’s experiences are that AAAP never gives refunds, is full of excuses, sells contracts that don’t cover anything, and blames everyone else for what they’re failing to do. Plus they’ve been sued by multiple customers and lost – in NJ, PA, and AZ (search public court records). Keep away from them! You’ll get a warranty that doesn’t cover anything, excuses when it’s time for claims, and if you cancel, you’ll never get a refund! Beware!
On 4/9/2013 I purchased a vehicle warranty from AAAP (FOR $2,500.00) AND I PAID $395.00 DOWN, AND $175.42 FOR 12 MONTHS WITH THE FIRST PAYMENT STARTING ON 5/9/2013 WHICH WAS ALSO PAID, and after receiving my warranty terms I chose NOT to keep the vehicle and trade it in for a new one instead. So on 5/20/2013 I sent the requested cancellation notice and all original documents as requested along with notarized statement requesting cancellation, and a notarized statement indicating odometer reading at time of purchase and time of cancellation BY CERTIFIED MAIL RETURN RECIPT . Per the terms of the contract I received from AAAP (YOU CAN CANCEL THE CONTRACT AT ANYTIME, AND ALL CANCELLATION REQUESTS MADE WITHIN 30DAYS OF PURCHASE DATE OF CONTRACT WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A FULL REFUND, ALL CANCELLATION REQUESTS MADE AFTER 30DAYS OF THE PURCHASE DATE SHALL BE SUBJECT TO A. (A $150.00 CANCELLATION FEE OR B. (WILL BE PRORATED BY THE TIME OR MILEAGE FROM THE PURCHASE DATE OF THE CONTRACT, WHICHEVER IS LESS, LESS CLAIMS). I have called AAAP customer service department SEVERAL times and was told by customer service that the only person that handles warranty cancellation was (James Fortino at ext #175), So I have called James Fortino and left message after message and I get nowhere I never receive a call back. It has been OVER 3 MONTHS and I have heard nothing and I have NO REFUND.
Don’t fall for it they’re scammers. They tell you whatever you wanna hear and when it’s time to fix your car they wanna make deals to pay for pieces instead of what they are supposed to! Don’t fall for it!
AAAP, With all the skepticism about the extended auto service contract or (warranty) industry, it was very pleasing to contact such a professional sales representative as Jason S. Not only did he answer many and all of my concerns, but he went far beyond what most would do to provide the best customer service in the industry. After speaking with over a dozen sales representatives from other companies, I should know full well. There is a mistake in AAAP’s BBB rating per my brief conversation with Brett Hitchcock (president) and with an asset like Jason S., they should always rate A+. Jason gave me the best price and value available, for inevitable costly auto repairs. Thanks again and God Bless.
I called to cancel my warranty because the dealership offered me a cheaper warranty that I had on my first car and they got in my business wanting to know every detail in the dealership policy. When I told them I called to cancel, the transferred me to 4 different people , which were nasty. I glad I had my bank on three way. My bank placed my funds back on my card and cancelled my existing card j just in case they tried something, so it’s recorded twice how disrespectful they acted. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my dog.
this is one of the crappiest company I have ever delt with… I will never deal with them again they ripped me off for a lot of money
I was referred to AAAP by my dealer. I’ve had my plans about 6 months and just had a claim with my plan. They paid 100% of my repair and I had the $0 deductible. I went in and picked up my car at Toyota and pain absolutely ZERO. I’m a VERY happy camper!!
I purchased a warranty for my 350z Nissan on need once and was very happy with it.
Rude total rip off scam of a company. AAAP should be held accountable for there scams. Any comment on Administration Plus USA OH THATS RIGHT YOU ARE ONLY A BROKER check my great policy occ231526 What a scam run around
Saw some bad reviews on this company but also saw some good reviews. Used my judgment and took the plunge. Had a few claims which were all covered without a problem. I’d recommend
Thank you for the fast and easy coverage!
had company in the past and switched over. wasn’t to happy about previous claim covered. took some time to get fixed and receive payment but in the end was covered and no problems with my car yet (crossing my fingers)
I paid $2500.00 for a warranty. I have had a contract with AAAP for about a year now, and I have had my first claim, which was only about $400.00. I was unable to get a hold of anyone in the claims department for days. I finally was about to speak with Jim in Customer Service, who was EXTREMELY RUDE. He blatantly told me that they would not cover a rental car for me because it wasn’t their fault that my auto shop mis-diagnosed my car, when AAAP my claim. This man straight argued with me on the phone for 30 minutes with my boyfriend listening in the background. I then asked to speak to his supervisor, Jim REFUSED to let me speak with a supervisor. A day later, when I still could no longer get in touch with the claims department, I called AAAP and again, got Jim, because apparently there are only 3 people working at this place. I told Jim that I wanted to file to cancel my warranty, because I was sick of the run a round.. Jim told me that he would send me the paperwork to sign and return|. As I have not received the paperwork yet, my policy should still be active, but unbeknown to me, they are now refusing to pay the open claim that was already approved! I called and asked to speak to Jim’s supervisor!. This guy was WORSE! He must be the owner of this scam operation”. He called me a “***”, along with a few other names on the phone (while apparently they record all of their calls,.) Im sure this call got erased.. He sounded like he was walking around outside/. This man refused to “reinstated” my warranty, which was never officially cancelled by me as per me not yet signing any paperwork”. He told me that I would have to deal with it myself..and That I would only be getting back about half of what I have paid for my warranty. Which is about $1250.00 out of $2500.00. When I have NEVER used my warranty once. And when I finally had to, I got NOTHING but problems, arguments, and rude customer service, with no help what-so-ever! When I mentioned to the owner that I would be filing with the BBB against them, his exact words were “Ill be waiting here crying, shaking in my boots.”
